European Springbreak Report |
Springbreak and Sinsheim 2008 show is over. DDEurope had great success at the 4-day event.
New amplifiers and speakers were presented as well as DD ProAudio.
DD Party on Saturday was a blast. Our (D)DJ Jörg from Austria was in toptrim and made a great show. For PA we used 2 sets of PM-151 monitors, one PS-2 and one PS-3 active sub. The room was 150m2 big, but it was no problem, the speakers did what they should and more. We were told to lower the volume several times from the SportsBar management. A good review you can say.
In dB Drag DD got several first places and also a World Record in SS 1-2
In dB Cup DD broke multi World records and took many trophies. Congratulations to all winners and strong DD competitors and a big hand to you for great support.

Sinsheim show & Springbreak 2008 |
Its time to set foot towards Sinsheim again. DDEurope is this year located in Hall 1 in conjunction with our German distributor AM´s car audio. We will show the very latest hot stuff oozing out from the R&D dept in Oklahoma city.

DD Kick-Off in Austria |
The first official DD Europe Distributor kick-off took place Sept 8-9,
2007 in a beautiful cottage in the Alps (Grünau) near Salzburg, Austria.
Here we made future plans, and got the chance to enjoy the Austrian cuisine
and mountain life. We also got to touch and listen to the new DD Home
products.
Attendees came from:
Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Germany, Greece, France, Italy, Sweden, and
DD-USA
Next meeting is planned to be in Sinsheim, Germany April 2008.
All DDistributors are welcome to this meeting. Stay tuned!

The new 2006 line up of DD amps is now ready. There are a total of 11 new amp models in 5 categories released this summer.
C-series are the workhorses and daily drive amps in 2-channel and 4-channel set up.
M-series are the monoblocks (class-D) that will make your DD woofers show their right attitude in your sound system.
SS-series is a super slim sub amp with great dynamic power that can be fitted in any car, so yes, now you can power up and be loud also in your leased vehicle.

DD SS-1 amp a powerful little beast.. |
What can you get from a tiny 155 x 50 x 270 mm amplifier.
Here comes the result from our benchtest performed by Peter. T. (alias Viking Boy)
a) First we used an old standard 12V car battery.
4,6 ohm 354,8 watt
2,3 ohm 566,6 watt
1,15ohm 761,8 watt
We did this test just to show what a regular customer should get as a minimum by using the existing stock battery.

b) Then we wanted to have some more fun, so we took 14,4 solid input voltage, like a good after market battery, and with the engine running.
4,6 ohm 490,5 watt
2,3 ohm 777,9 watt
1,15ohm 1 029 watt
Wow, thats a lot of power coming out from this little sucker.
Remember, its also bridgeable so you can really get some serious power out from the SS-1 amp.
